Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine is home to the state's premier veterinary hospital network. Our hospital system works with your primary care veterinarian to provide the highest quality veterinary care for large and small animal patients. Welcome to the CVM Hospital System
Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine is one of only a handful of veterinary schools in the nation that is home to an in-house teaching hospital system. The hospital system is made up of the Animal Health Center (located at the CVM's Starkville campus), the Animal Emergency & Referral Center (located in the Jackson metro area). This animal care network allows the CVM to act as the preeminent veterinary service for the state of Mississippi while also training the next generation of veterinary professionals. Our state-of-the-art facilities ensure that we are able to work in tandem with your primary care veterinarian to provide the absolute best care for your pets or working animals. All our facilities are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and our professionals are always on standby when emergencies arise.
