Internists on the AHC Small Animal Internal Medicine Service manage a wide spectrum of non-surgical specialties such as critical care, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, hematology, and transfusion medicine. This service also works hand-in-hand with the large animal surgeons for orthopedic and specialty surgical procedures.
