Designed to prepare our students for work after graduation, our Community Veterinary Service Department can act as a client's general practitioner.

This service is available for the purpose of preparing the College’s third-year veterinary students for practicing small animal general practice medicine upon graduation, and is a required rotation. The program provides our students with a strong foundation with an emphasis on routine health maintenance, common illnesses, and dentistry. While CVS is general service, students and CVS veterinarians work closely with clinicians in the many specialty areas offered through the AHC to gain invaluable hands-on experience while providing the best possible care for a variety of different species.
CVS appointments are open to the general public and do not require a referral.
Appointments for new patients may be made by calling 662-325-1351, some services may require referral from your primary care veterinarian.
